DATES The 2008 Brockton Fair dates are July 2nd through July 13th.

Minimum rental will be 10 front feet. |

Prices for 2008 will be $75.00 per front foot for outside space. |
|
Maximum depth at quoted price per front foot will be 15 feet. Adjustments will be made accordingly if your trailer or booth is oversize in depth. |

Center spaces are limited. Therefore, all vendors using center spaces will be charged as follows: Front footage will be based on your large side plus one half (1/2) of your small side. |

All reservations and deposits must be submitted early to guarantee a space. We will do everything possible to accommodate you in your choice of location but cannot offer ANY GUARANTEE . |

Vendors are responsible to arrange for their own PROFESSIONAL tent, lighting and signage. Only professional tents will be accepted- NO EZ UPS!!! |
INSURANCE Each vendor must supply their own insurance coverage and forward a certificate of insurance to the Brockton Fair. Brockton Agricultural Society and Middleborough Agricultural Society MUST be named as the Additional Insureds. This information must be received no later than June 14th. See the attached sample Certificate of Insurance for our requirements.
CONTRACTS Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. If for some reason your application is NOT accepted your check will be refunded. NO PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted. CERTIFIED CHECKS or MONEY ORDERS ONLY! Each product to be sold and price must be listed on the application. We reserve the right to remove any product(s) not listed on your contract. No vendor may add products or change prices after set-up. Any vendor doing so risks being removed from their space.
FAIR HOURS Vendors and/or all booths must remain open for the entire duration of the fair. Failure to remain open may result in voiding your contract at fair management's sole discretion.
TRAILER PARK SPACE Rent for trailer park spaces will be $25.00 per day. A payment of $350.00 can be made to cover rental from Monday, June 25th through Sunday, July 8th. If you would like to reserve a space in the trailer park please include payment with your vendor application. Trailer park payment must be paid in advance, prior to parking your trailer.
MASS SALES TAX A Massachusetts Sales Tax Number is required by the MA Dept. of Revenue. If you do not have a number, information and an application can be obtained by calling the MA Dept. of Revenue at (508) 678-2844 x 37413.
B.O.H. PERMITS The Health Inspector from the City of Brockton will be at the Fairgrounds to issue BOH permits for a minimum fee of $75.00. All vendors must obtain a permit before opening and must display it at all times during business hours. Permits will be available, at the First Aid Office prior to opening. Date & time will be posted at the fair office.
BUILDING PERMITS A Building Permit must be obtained prior to vendor set up. Please contact the City of Brockton 's Building Department for further information at (508) 580-7150.
RULES FOR PROPANE A permit for the storage and use of propane is required. Bottles should be off when not in use and bottles must be CHAINED in upright position, to a secure object to avoid tipping. Please use CHAINS only, no ropes, bungees etc. Proper size fire extinguisher as noted on permit (minimum 20lbs of dry chemical with a BC rating) must be available and must have been inspected within the last year. Permit must be posted where it can be seen. Permits will be available at the First Aid Office prior to fair opening. Date and time will be posted at the fair office. Fee for permit is $25.00 and cash, certified check or money order is required. Any questions may be directed to the Brockton Fire Department-Fire prevention Bureau at (508) 583-2933.
ELECTRICITY Please see attached Electrical Order Form. All orders are subject to the review and approval of the on-site electrician.
PARKING Vendors may purchase additional parking passes for $25.00 each . ALL STOCKING MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO OPENING. OTHERWISE, A HAND TRUCK MUST BE USED . Vendor's vehicles must be parked in the assigned lots. ANY vehicles on the midway will be towed at the owner's expense.
